Jordanian shouted "Allahu Akbar": New footage from suspected attack at Petah Tikva garage

A Jordanian citizen, who worked at a family-owned auto garage in the city of Petah Tikva, allegedly attempted to stab his coworker, an Israeli citizen in his 30s, with a pole on Thursday.

According to testimonies from workers at the scene, he shouted "Allahu Akbar" while carrying out the stabbing.

The incident was initially defined as a "work accident.".

However, after the forces arrived at the scene, it became clear that this was most likely a terrorist attack.

In the released footage, the Jordanian can be seen surrounded by police officers who are trying to neutralize him using a Taser gun. The Jordanian falls to the floor and is caught by the police.

The victim was taken to Beilinson Hospital in the city in serious condition.

According to the documentation and also according to the testimonies of the garage workers, the stabbing victim shouted: "Allahu Akbar.".
