Lynching in Burka on Saturday night: Jerusalem Magistrate's Court Judge Zion Sahrai extended Yechiel Indor's detention by 5 days on Friday afternoon. "A review of the new materials shows that the reasonable suspicion in the respondent's case has strengthened to a certain extent, and this strengthening justifies his continued detention for an additional period of time," the judge wrote. At the end of the hearing, Indor's family members burst into tears in the courtroom. The police have dropped the suspicion of arson and a nationalist motive. He is now charged with four offenses: causing death by negligence or intent, conspiracy, disruption and rioting. Indor, who was seriously injured in the lynching, is still hospitalized. The hearing on extending his detention was held in his absence, due to his medical condition.
