Media personality Yinon Magal, host of the show "The Patriots" on Channel 14 and the morning show on 103, attacked "crooked" journalists on his Twitter account today (Sunday), led by Akiva Novik, whom he called "the most disgusting and embarrassing thing in the media.".
The attack came after Novick attacked the government in his weekly column in the newspaper 'Shevei', when he mentioned that it had decided to continue "transferring the 53 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood," despite the fact that, while sitting in opposition, it had attacked the Bennett government for this.
Media personality Ben Caspit shared the column on his Twitter account and wrote: "I don't often admit, but there's no choice. I couldn't have written it better. One reservation: the people in the poison machine's megaphones were not 'fringe people.' They are the flesh and blood of the Likud, and also Smotrich's people. Thank you.".

Magal shared Caspit's comments about Novick's column - and wrote: "The most disgusting and embarrassing thing in the media is this bunch of dossim, the yiff dancers, whose entire occupation in print and electronic media is to criticize the right and the religious every day or once a week, to explain how wrong and intolerant they are, and to justify the attacks on them. A combination of feelings of inferiority and the need to be liked. On the other hand, Ben Caspit appreciates.".
Novik was not left unfulfilled and replied: "Yinon Magal, the skilled spreader of hatred in Israel, is trying to educate religious journalists with curses and slander. My dear Yinon, I and we simply do not count you, and we will not learn from you what a backbone is.".
He continued: "Yinon Magal and Shimon Riklin, a bohemian duo with a past many times more impressive than the present, preach morality to the whole world from their place of residence in north Tel Aviv. Tweet like Rabbi Kanievsky and live like Eyal Golan. So Yinon and Shimon, my beloved friends, let's agree that I will continue to write my opinions in the 'Seventh' newspaper, and you will continue to flirt with waitresses.".
Magal did not remain indebted: "You're right! My present, as someone who fights and doesn't lower his head - terrible. And yours, who is groveling to the left - wonderful. So let's agree that I will continue to influence and lead the television, radio and Twitter charts, and you will write your thoughts on the seventh (and bring in less than 1% corporate ratings at the expense of our taxes).".
Assaf Lieberman, Akiva Novick's colleague at Kan News, joined the fight and responded: "In my opinion, a moral and honest journalist like Akiva Novick should not respond to dubious types who feed on fights and poison. And yet, if I have to respond, then like this," he tweeted and shared Novick's response.
