At a prestigious event held at the Jerusalem Haredi College, a select group of Haredi women received a certificate of completion for a master's degree in conflict management and resolution from Ben-Gurion University.

Among the recipients of the certificate are important women and opinion leaders in the Haredi sector.

The unique program, which lasted about two years, was conducted as part of the "Women's Wisdom" program, a program that empowers Haredi women and gives them practical tools and practice so that they can advance and influence their environment.

To enrich the academic studies, the college administration, with the assistance of UN representatives "Interpeace Israel", Yitzhak Sudari, Noam Schuster and Tzachi Gabbay, incorporated activities that added, complemented and enriched the studies in a fascinating way.

As part of the activity with the UN, which began with a group of rabbis, the women were also exposed to the international community, addressed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, heard lectures from political experts, and participated in field trips to strategically important areas of politics, such as the borders of Syria and Lebanon, the Jerusalem area, etc.

In the practicum, the women were exposed to social conflicts in the divisions between different groups in Israel, as well as between secular and ultra-Orthodox. In their pleasant manner and their lifestyle based on the Torah, they demonstrated the ability to move forward and bridge the gap for peace in the home and the unity of Israel. .

One of the fascinating activities in which the women of the course participated was the study tour in Belfast, Ireland.

The country, which is embroiled in an ongoing and ancient conflict with neighboring Britain, hosted the Haredi women, who learned from their hosts about the deep conflicts that have accompanied the country for some seven hundred years.

The tour, which was empowering and fascinating, was accompanied by Attorney David Glass, a confidant of Maran Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who received compliments from the Irish prime ministers for the group of special women, for their understanding and sensitivity to the dignity of every human being.

Graduates of the first course of its kind have been integrated into key and senior positions in the Israeli economy, won prestigious tenders, and are now leading social initiatives affecting the Haredi sector and Israeli society as a whole.

In the near future, we are informed that a second cycle of master's degree studies in conflict management and resolution will begin, in which participants, like their predecessors, will receive tools and knowledge with which they will be able to manage and resolve conflicts in the community and society, handle conflicts that arise frequently, and apply them to the best advantage.

Rabbi Yosef Wittman, Vice President of the College: "The goal of the College is to help the Haredi public integrate and advance in the employment market, which is currently at the top of the public discourse, and the high placement percentage of 94% of the many college graduates will testify to this.".
