In preparation for the establishment of the Bekam after Passover, commanders of the yeshivot section were appointed today, who will take care of all those defined as "Torah and Art.".
Starting today, there will not be a yeshiva section in each recruitment office, but rather one national section that will handle the entire Haredi sector - which will effectively constitute the Haredi B'K'om.
The head of the Yeshiva section was appointed Captain Rabbi Yaakov Rasi, who wears a knitted kippah and who previously served as the coordinator of Haredi integration at the ITAL, and previously as the rabbi of the Menashe Regional Brigade (Jenin - Tulkarm sector), and the rabbi of the PAKMZ command armament unit.

Upon appointment, the Chief Rabbi will be promoted to the rank of Major, after Passover.
Captain Yehuda Glickman, an ultra-Orthodox resident of Elad, was appointed as his deputy. He previously served as the complaints ombudsman for Shahar soldiers in the IDF, and served as an officer in the Shahar section.
