A documentary by the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) organization reveals the statements made to Arab television by terrorist Chris Younes, who was released last week after 40 years in prison - where he served time for the murder of soldier Avraham Bromberg.
The terrorist was recorded disdaining the Israeli passport: "Israeli citizenship and the Israeli passport are the most hated passports in the world... It is a racist citizenship... We are Palestinians first and foremost. The Israeli ID card and the Israeli passport were given to us by force. No one regrets [the loss of] the Israeli passport.""
Also, upon his release from prison, he continued to incite: "I and all the prisoners are ready to sacrifice even more for Palestine and its freedom.".
In response, Alon Schwarzer, head of the research and policy department at the Im Tirtzu movement, addressed the Attorney General's Counsel, Attorney Gali Baharav Mayara, demanding that his citizenship be revoked: "Every minute that the terrorist murderer Karim Younes does not return to prison and his citizenship is not revoked is a certificate of poverty for the State of Israel.
""Since his release from prison, it is clear to everyone that the terrorist has not changed his ways and he declares support for continuing the struggle against the State of Israel and disdains his Israeli citizenship. We expect you to act immediately to revoke the terrorist's citizenship and return him to custody.".
Shai Glick, CEO of Belmo: "Younes is not interested in an Israeli identity, let's help him with that. There is no reason why today the government attorney general will not approve the request that is already before her to revoke his identity card. After all, he said he is Palestinian, so let him be respectful and move to the Palestinian Authority for the benefit of everyone.".
