The Jerusalem Police have opened an investigation after a suspicious package, addressed to outgoing Prime Minister Yair Lapid, was received in the Knesset's internal mail. This was reported this morning (Sunday) by Liran Tamari on the Ynet website. According to the report, the package included rosé wine, a booklet with pictures of Yair Lapid himself, a knife with a wooden handle - and two envelopes with money: one containing 777 euros and the other 1,154 euros. The police do not have even a clue at this stage about the sender and his intentions. Attempts are now being made to trace his identity and understand why he sent the unusual package to Lapid.
