A Haifa resident who went for a walk in Haifa with his dog on Thursday was surprised to discover when he returned home that there was a burglar inside his apartment.
He didn't hesitate and managed to photograph the burglar as he fled. Yesterday, the police arrested the suspect in the act - suspected of carrying out further break-ins in the city.
The burglar's arrest was carried out after the Haifa Police Department received a complaint about a break-in to an apartment.

Haifa police investigators opened an investigation, which revealed that the victim was surprised when he returned to his apartment to discover a stranger standing inside. The victim realized it was a burglar and immediately took a picture of him.
The suspect, a 42-year-old Haifa resident, was arrested yesterday and brought in for questioning, during which he was questioned on suspicion of additional break-ins to apartments in the city last week and theft of their contents.
Today, the police will request an extension of his detention at the Haifa Magistrate's Court.
