Singer and songwriter Yuval Dayan told on her Facebook account how her family managed to obtain a sukkah - just hours before the holiday began.

Dayan wrote: "At 2:00 PM I was upset that we didn't have a sukkah, and I thought to myself, okay... there are cases like this where we have a sukkah in the 90th minute... why not try?".
Dayan picked up two or three phones until she heard: "What a piece of every year we use the sukkah and this year it stayed folded, waiting for you, really lucky.".
She added and said: "A dear Chabad emissary here in Ashdod came and built us a sukkah. Some beautiful decorations. Mom is upstairs cooking, and this is the first time we are having a holiday in our own sukkah.".
""Thank you to all the good people along the way... You are all invited to us. Have a happy holiday. True unity in our hearts and people. Love you.".
Dayan, who has grown stronger in recent years, keeps her cool - and when she refused to shake hands with US President Joe Biden at the welcoming ceremony at the President's residence - a storm arose. While some attacked her for it, many supported her. The US ambassador to Israel, Tom Neides, also sent a video to Dayan and made it clear that the president was not offended.
Dayan wrote at the time: "A huge thank you to all the supporters. I wholeheartedly forgive all the mockers.".
