
An Israeli man in his 60s lost consciousness this evening (Tuesday, the end of Rosh Hashanah), on a bus leaving the city of Uman in Ukraine.

He is on his way back to Israel, via the airport in Warsaw, Poland.
Rescue forces and a United Hatzalah intensive care unit were called to the scene and immediately began resuscitation efforts, but unfortunately the attempts were unsuccessful and all that remained was to determine his death.
Mathes Shapira, head of the United Hatzalah branch in Uman: "We arrived at the scene with ambulances and a United Hatzalah intensive care unit team, and with the assistance of a doctor from the Uman clinic, we performed prolonged CPR on him in an attempt to save his life. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene, after the resuscitation efforts were completed.".
Aharon Ben Harosh, deputy head of the Uman branch of the United Hatzalah, reported from the scene: "This is an unfortunate incident following the Rosh Hashanah events in Uman. We are now working with the assistance of Breslov activists to fly his body to Israel.".
