MK Sharan Haskel from Tikva Hadasha gave birth to twin daughters.

Haskel announced the birth on her Twitter account: "Hug them at night, when they fall asleep, the whole world calms down. Breathe them in deeply, knowing that I will always be there for them...""

Many members of Knesset rushed to congratulate.

Minister Karin Elharrer wished: "Congratulations, dear Sharan. May you raise them in peace." MK Orit Struck wished her: "Double congratulations, Sharan.".

Interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid congratulated: "Dear Sharan, congratulations on the birth of the twins! May you raise them comfortably and with fun. Good health (and of course, a few hours of sleep if possible).".

Sharan Haskel is married to Eyal Harpaz. In December 2019, she revealed the difficulties she had with the treatments she went through for about four years, and about a year later, they had a daughter.

Now, fortunately, two more daughters have been born.
