Esti Yitzhaki is a creative singer, married with three children, from Petah Tikva.
It's worth eating healthy: healthy recipes for snacks and family meals
On her 50th birthday, she gave herself and the female public her first original single for radio that she wrote - "The World Can't Do It Without You," which she composed together with singer and songwriter Liat Itzhaki - and no, there is no family connection...
""A year ago, I had a thought about a 50th birthday gift that I could give to the world, and not just to myself. There is a saying that Rabbi Nachman says: 'The day you were born is the day God decided that the world could not exist without you.' I took it as inspiration for a gift that I wanted to give to the world and wrote the song 'The World Cannot Live Without You.'.
""Today, a year later, I'm celebrating my fiftieth birthday and after a year of work and effort, I'm releasing my first original single to the radio, and it's so exciting.".
""There's a line in the song, 'It's not the candles or the cake, leave the fireworks, balloons and gifts.' Basically, everyone needs to look at what they've accomplished in life. Each and every one of us has a role in the world, and we need to utilize and make room for the strengths that lie within us, and remember that age is just a number and it doesn't matter when, 'even at 50!' The opening line in the song, 'Come close the circle' refers to the cycles in our lives, 'You'll meet yourself again every year, and see what you've been through and how much you've accomplished along the way. Life is like the song, starting quietly and becoming rhythmic and powerful with the right path.".
The new single is accompanied by a colorful and optimistic music video. "When we chose to film a music video with actress Naama Landau, we thought of a script that would meet all types of people and make them smile.".
In the clip, Naama meets random people on the street and gives them a flower made from a colorful balloon without distinction of religion, race, or other division.
Esti Yitzhaki is in the final stages of preparing for a show produced by Elnatan Shalom, called 'Happy.' "It's not called Happy for nothing," Esti explains, "A few years ago I was going through a 'bad' time and I made a pact with God: He would give me my salvation, and I would spread the word about how to live differently out of happiness to anyone who cares to listen...".
Esti opens the show with "The World Can't Do Without You." She hosts Naama Dardik, a good friend and colleague, for a duet with "You Have Me," and also Lilach Batat - with a contemporary female version of the classic "A Matter of Time.".
'"The World Can't Live Without You" is expected to quickly become a hit at every party: from Bat Mitzvah parties to anything in between. The creator is giving the young women the playback of the song as a gift, so they can sing, dance and celebrate the fact that our world can't live without them...
