Expansion trend in the Mehadrin kashrut system in Russia: In recent times, there has been an increase in the consumption of kosher dairy products, alongside the production of new, fancy kosher products, which have been added to the refrigerated shelves of strictly kosher stores in Russia in general and in Moscow in particular. As a result, Russian dairy plants are accordingly increasing their supply to the entire kosher-observing public, which is growing along with a significant increase in the number of Torah and mitzvot-observants in the country. The Chief Rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar, who heads the Russian Mehadrin Kosher system, conducted a special tour of the Family Farm dairy in the Taldom district north of Moscow this week. The rabbi was honored with a mezuzah at the door of the expanded company's offices, which produces high-quality, organic and special "Heleb Yisrael" products year-round. Together with the rabbi of the kashrut system, Rabbi Yosef Yitzhak Marzel, the chairman of the system, Rabbi Yosef Varzov, and the management of the place, the Chief Rabbi toured the factory and closely observed all stages of production - from the milking parlors to the storage of the finished products, before they were distributed to many points in Russia. The rabbi followed the permanent supervision team on site, who do their work under the good name of the great kashrut system of the Chief Rabbinate of Russia, which today stands at the Eastern Wall of kashrut committees throughout the world. A special effort was made this year in preparation for the holiday of Matan Torah, to distribute Yisrael milk products among Jewish communities throughout Russia, including special dairy sweets for hundreds of thousands of children, who will come to hear the Ten Commandments in synagogues and Chabad houses.
