A new and exciting melody for Aharon Razel, this time in the atmosphere of the holy day in Meron, and under the terrible impression of last year's 'Meron disaster'.

Aaron has a deep and spiritual connection to Meron: "I will never forget the first time I came to Meron! Even though I lived in Safed for almost a year, every time I almost went to the holy town - for some reason it just didn't work out...".

Razel understands that this is delayed by heaven. "I probably wasn't ready mentally and spiritually yet. In the end, Eliyahu the Flute took me in his old Citroen, and I was so excited and I simply couldn't enter Zion. I leaned against a tree in the forest near Zion, and composed this melody...".

There are two main sentences in the new poem. The first is the verse that appears at the entrance to the holy Zion: 'For you will not forget from the mouth of your seed.' As we know, the final syllables of the verse make up the word 'Yochai'! This is the secret that Rabbi Nachman revealed, that thanks to the holy Zohar and the innermost nature of the Torah, we are assured that the Torah will not be forgotten! (Presented in the introduction to Likutei Moharan) The second sentence is taken from the piyyut 'Bar Yochai' and what a moving sentence is given there: 'We will make man, it was said for your sake'! When God said at the beginning of creation, 'We will make man,' He meant you, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai!

""I admit that this tune is a little different from my other tunes. I feel like it comes from some kind of cosmic emotion, maybe even a little heavenly, and therefore, even in the arrangement, I tried to keep it that way. I wanted to express this feeling that exists in Meron: Here I have arrived at a place that is beyond 'place' and 'time', the Etra Kadisha of Meron!"'

''Olu' was the first song that Aharon composed in honor of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and was released two years ago. Now, after the terrible disaster in Meron, Aharon has decided to release the melody 'Ki La Tischa' to commemorate the souls of the martyrs who ascended to heaven in the storm!

May their memory be blessed!

For you will not forget from the mouth of his seed.
And it shall come to pass, when trouble and evil shall come upon you, that this song shall be an everlasting song, for it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of his seed.

Who will protect us? His Torah protects us, Bar Yochai
Who will enlighten my eyes? She enlightens our eyes – Bar Yochai
And it shall come to pass that I will hide my face in that day, and this song shall be answered forever – for it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of his seed!
Let us become a man, it is said for you!
