President Yitzhak Herzog announced the victory of the chairman of 'For You', Yossi Arblich, in the 'President's Volunteer Award for 2022'.
Arblich: "I accept the award with appreciation and gratitude as a representative of the 'doctors in reserve' - 180 department directors, specialist doctors with hearts of gold who give their time and skills for the benefit of patients, without any compensation as part of the activities of our organization.".
Yossi Arblich, 45, from Bnei Brak, married and father of six, has been providing medical advice on a voluntary basis for over 20 years, and several years ago he founded the "For Your Sake" association, which works for thousands of patients and the sick. The medical advice system is managed by Dr. Benny Davidson, former CEO of Assaf Harofeh. The organization's president is Prof. Yosef Peres, former CEO of Schneider.
He established the 'Doctors in Reserves' project for patients in Israel and abroad who cannot afford it and who need guidance, professional advice and medical support.
Arbelich personally accompanies each patient throughout the entire medical procedure.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the organization worked to increase awareness of the importance of vaccinations.
Arbelich also founded 'Mashi for You - Bnei Brak', a rehabilitation school for children with special needs, and accompanies the institution from the stage of diagnosing the children by specialist doctors to obtaining the necessary equipment.
From the reasons given by the committee that awarded the 'President's Award': Rabbi Yosef Arblich's voluntary contribution provides a response to the needs of the hour. It is evident that Rabbi Arblich invests mental and physical effort in his voluntary activities, and the degree of perseverance and dedication in his volunteering is significant.".
