Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman responded: "A difficult evening. I share the grief of the families of those murdered in the heinous attack in El-Ad and wish the injured a speedy recovery. Especially today, Independence Day, we must not tolerate terrorism on the streets of Israel and we have a duty to deal with it firmly and restore the sense of security to citizens.".

Knesset Speaker MK Mickey Levy: "Following the difficult reports flowing from Elad. This happy Independence Day turned sad and terrible in an instant, once again highlighting the price of life in our country. Sending condolences to the families of the murdered, a speedy recovery to the injured, and hope that the despicable terrorists who committed this atrocity will be caught as soon as possible.".

Religious Zionist Chairman MK Bezalel Smotrich: "In this difficult hour, our hearts and prayers are with the security forces operating in the field, with the families of the murdered, with the wounded, with the residents of Elad, and with all of Israel, which received a painful reminder of our ongoing War of Independence and rebellion.".

Minister Matan Kahane: "A day that is different is a tragic day. As Independence Day approaches, Jews were brutally murdered in the city of Elad. I embrace the families of the murdered and offer a prayer for a full recovery for those injured in the terrible attack. I strengthen the security forces in the pursuit of the terrorists.".

MK Simcha Rotman: "Terrorism must be cut off at its root. And its root is the struggle of the Arabs of the Land of Israel against the Return to Zion. As we said just one day ago, this war began long before the establishment of the state, before the 'occupation,' before the 'settlements.' And we will win this war, with God's help, only when we have cut off the enemy's hope.".

Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri: "My heart bleeds in the face of the severe attack tonight in El-Ad. I send sincere condolences with a broken and sorrowful heart to the families of those murdered in the attack on the 14th and pray for the recovery of the injured.".

MK Mickey Zohar: "On the Independence Day of the State of Israel, the enemy once again shows us his hatred, his cruelty, and the pure evil that emanates from within him.

""Those who encourage terrorism and those who support this heinous attack should be dealt a severe blow that they will never forget. Radical Islam only understands power, we must show it our strength. I share the grief of the families and wish a full recovery to the injured.".

MK Ofir Akunis: "A sad ending - to a happy day. Arab terrorism raises its head. Without distinction, everywhere. With unparalleled cruelty. I told you about a month and a half ago: Remember the Beersheba massacre. The government's weakness, its bowing of the head, the persecution of Jews who wave the Israeli flag in Jerusalem, instead of persecuting terrorists and fighting terror. Remember the Elad massacre. Remember it well. May the memory of the murdered be blessed.".

MK Michal Rozin of the Meretz party: "A shocking end to Independence Day. A shocking and unimaginable murder. Sending condolences to the families of the murdered and a full recovery to the injured.".
