After the 'Meron disaster' that occurred last year, in which 45 celebrants died at the Rashbi's Hilulut during the lighting of the Rebbe's Tolodot Aharon - the Rebbe instructed his followers not to hold an organized community event in Meron on Lag BaOmer this year.
The Rebbe will arrive in Meron, without the Hasidim
According to the 'Publicity Headquarters - Rashbi's Celebration', other Hasidic sects are also expected to issue such an order.

In a letter sent by Zvi Michal Heller, CEO of 'Simchat Rashbi' of the Toldot Aharon Community, to Eliyahu Arend, assistant to Projector Miron Zviki Tesler, he writes:
""Regarding your request to inform you of the plans from the Toldot Aharon community in Hai Shata, Meron, for Lag BaOmer - we would like to inform you that for this year, the Rebbe of Toldot Aharon Shlita
He is not preparing to attend the Lag BaOmer celebration with the public this year.
""And so we inform you, after checking with the public, about two thousand people, men and women, that they are preparing to arrive in Meron between 8:00 and 4:00 p.m., and that the Divine Mercy of the Rashbi will protect us and will, and that our prayers will be accepted among the other prayers of the House of Israel with mercy and will, and that no harm or obstacle will occur, and that we will soon be saved by the salvation and redemption of Israel, Amen.".
