
Heavy mourning in the courtyard of the Toldot Aharon community: Rebbetzin Mrs. Hinda Kahn, wife of the Rebbe of Tolodot Aharon, passed away this evening (Wednesday) at the age of 74 at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

Over the past year, the Rebbetzin has been battling a serious illness. She was recently hospitalized, and today her family members attended the funeral, after her body's systems collapsed - and she passed away, to the shock of her family and the entire community.
The Rebbetzin, may God bless her, was born on 2 Adar 2, 1958, as the eldest daughter of her father, the Rebbe, Rabbi Naftali Zvi Lavin of Zeditsov, zt"l, and her mother, Mrs. Miriam Eidel, may God bless her, while they lived after World War II in the city of Landsberg, Germany.
When she was one year old, the family immigrated to the Holy Land. In her father's home, she received her education in the love of Torah and good manners - and she devoted her entire life to acts of charity and kindness for those in need.
In 1952, due to her mother's health, the family moved to London, where she cared for her mother during her illness.
In 1966, she married her husband, the Rebbe of the History of Aaron, Rabbi David Kahn, the second son of the Rebbe, author of the 'Divrei Emuna' of the History of Aaron, zt"l.
After her mother's death, she continued to raise her brothers and sisters, and after some time, she emigrated with her father, the late Rebbe of Ziditsov, to the United States - where he established his Beit Midrash.
Her home in the city of Muncie, New York, was an open house, filled with charity collectors from the Holy Land, alongside the broken and oppressed.
Upon her husband's coronation as Rebbe of the History of Aharon 25 years ago, they made aliyah to the Holy Land.
Among her activities was the establishment of the organization 'Union of Women of the Birth of Aaron - Nishta Hada', which unites all the women of the community, and within its framework, strengthening gatherings were held. She also established the organization 'Help for Midwives - Good Heart'.
She left behind many sons, sons-in-law, and descendants:
His sons - Rabbi Yisrael Yosef, Rabbi Aharon, Rabbi Moshe - Av Beit Din of Toldot Aharon London, Rabbi Menachem Nachum, Rabbi Yeshaya, Rabbi Yoel Yechiel, Rabbi Shlomo Leib.
Her sons-in-law: Rabbi Avraham Rabinowitz, the Rebbe of Chernovitz, Rabbi Eliyahu Ginzenburg, Rabbi Baruch Kahane and Rabbi Natan Friedman.
Her brothers: the Rebbe of Ziditschow-London, the Rabba Av Beit Din of Ziditschow Haredim, the Rebbe of Ziditschow-Williamsburg, the Rebbe of Balakhov, the Rebbe of Ziditschow-Bnei Brak, her sister is the wife of the Rebbe of Tahash.
The funeral will leave at noon - Thursday - at 12:00, from the large Beit Midrash of Toldot Aharon in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem, on the Mount of Olives - where she will be buried.
