Bezalel Kahn was officially appointed today (Wednesday) as the program director of Kol Chai Radio, announced the station's CEO, Avi Rosen. Kahn replaces Rosen, who served in the position concurrently with his position as the station's CEO.
Bezalel Kahn served as the media advisor to the Beitar Illit municipality during the time of Mayor Yitzhak Pindros, and at the same time worked at Yated Ne'eman - from where he retired four years ago and opened a media consulting firm.
Two years ago, he began working at the Kol Hai station and was appointed editor of the news program on Kol Hai radio.
Last year, with the retirement of Avraham Forster from presenting the main edition, the station's CEO appointed Kahn as his replacement.
Today, in addition to his role as the main edition anchor and news director, he has been appointed program director at the station.
Kol Chai management said today: "There is no need to exaggerate the many years of experience of Bezalel Kahn in the field of communications, and in particular his commendable work in all areas of the station. He is the right man, in the right place.".
Bezalel Kahn: "I would like to thank the radio's CEO, Avi Rosen, for the training he gave me. For about two years, since I joined 'Kol Hai' as the news director, I have been - and still am - a partner in many processes at the station.
"I am happy about the new challenge, and with great divine help, in cooperation with all the wonderful radio workers, we will continue to promote 'Kol Chai' as the leading radio station among the ultra-Orthodox-religious public.".
