According to a Channel 7 report, the MK told his friends: "Ideologically, I cannot cooperate with you and play football when you are working against us in the Knesset.".

The team includes, alongside captain MK Tzachi Hanegbi, coalition chairwoman Idit Silman, Nira Shefak, Ram Shefa, Abir Kara, Eli Cohen, Yevgeny Soba, Meir Yitzhak Halevi, Gadi Yarkan and Ofir Katz.

Three of the Knesset members are Kish's Likud friends and they will continue to play.

Channel 7 also reported that despite the appeal by Knesset members from the coalition and the opposition to the Haredi and Arab Knesset members to participate in the Knesset soccer team, they refused.

""It is impossible to cooperate with the coalition in any way when it paralyzes us in the committees," explained one of the Haredi Knesset members.
