Exactly eight days ago, basketball player Omri and Shani Caspi had their third son, a little brother to four-year-old Sari and two-year-old Esti.
After the birth, Omri - who is very close to Judaism - posted a picture of the baby, and wrote: "Thanks to my lioness wife, thanks to the Holy One, blessed be He, thanks to the team of lovely doctors and nurses, and thanks to everyone for the blessings.".
Today (Sunday), at the circumcision ceremony they performed for the baby, he was given the name - Michael.
The mohel was Rabbi Menachem Fleischman, a Chabad Hasid from Rehovot, who already has 45 years of experience in the field.
Caspi shared a photo on social media in which he is photographed holding his little son in a covenant - and wrote: "To the Torah a canopy and good deeds, Amen!""
Last July, after an extensive career with leading teams in Israel and abroad, the basketball player announced his retirement.
