Several media outlets reported on the differences of opinion within the Netanyahu family regarding the arrangement, claiming that Yair supports his father reaching a plea agreement.

Today, Yair responded on his Twitter account, attacking the senior political commentator on News 12: "Amit Segal knows nothing about my positions. I have never met him, and I only texted him a few times on WhatsApp over six months ago, and not once since.".

Yair attacked Segal: "You know what I think of him. He has relevant and current information about what I say or think these days, just like the seller at a coconut stand in Thailand.".
