The chairman of the teachers' union, Ran Erez, today (Monday) sharply attacked Naftali Bennett, who will be the new mayor, and the government's policy. "They are abandoning the children, it's all anarchy and chaos. Someone needs to make decisions," he said. Has it been three months since your second vaccination? This is how you will protect yourself from the virus Did you divide? For thousands of years we dreamed of Jerusalem, so now we want to dirty it? On Saturday: The mother rested, the child pulled the trigger – and was hospitalized in serious condition In a conversation with a News 12 reporter, Erez addressed the complex situation in which the education system in Israel finds itself, and attacked Education Minister Shasha Biton and Prime Minister Bennett: "Do you know who makes decisions in the education system in the State of Israel? You can ask the minister. On the one hand, we want students to succeed in the winter exams, and on the other hand, we have morbidity and we don't have a green card and we don't have anything and it's all anarchy and it's all chaos." Erez's main argument is against Naftali Bennett: "In this situation, someone needs to make decisions, and that someone is the Prime Minister, he is the commander and he has deputies like the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health. We are ready to do everything so that our children can succeed. The Prime Minister is responsible! The Minister of Education should go and knock on his desk and tell him that this system is not working properly, students are being harmed, parents are being harmed." According to Erez, in the current morbidity situation, even coming to educational institutions is dangerous. "To come to school where the students are not vaccinated, not tested, and not given test kits - this is Russian roulette. And those responsible for this are the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education. They have to make decisions. We are ready for both frontal learning, hybrid learning, and home learning. But someone has to make a decision." Erez said that from his perspective, Shasha Biton and Bennett are acting irresponsibly. "They don't understand that in fact the future of the country lies in these children and are abandoning them," he attacked. "There is violence, there are drugs, there is all the evil in the world, and it's as if they don't care.".
