The president of the Shas Council of Torah Sages, Maran Rosh HaCham Shalom Cohen, returned home this morning (Friday) after a week of hospitalization at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center. The rabbi's entourage thanked the Hadassah Hospital administration and the medical team for their dedicated care and concern for the health of the president of the "council," noting in their gratitude: "By the grace of God, Maran returned home with renewed strength and resumed his studies." He will also deliver the weekly talk today after receiving Shabbat." Hacham Shalom was taken to the hospital last week, before the start of Shabbat, due to weakness and inflammation in his leg. The evacuation was carried out after consultation with the personal physician of the Maran Rosh Ha-Yeshiva. The president of the 'Council' underwent several tests after his hospitalization, after which, in consultation with the medical team, he remained hospitalized. The hospital reported at the time: "Maran Rabbi is feeling well and will remain for a few days for medical monitoring." Pray for the complete recovery of Rabbi Shalom ben Topha Malka.
