Acute tensions in the government over the approval of construction in Judea and Samaria: The Labor Party attacked Blue and White chairman and Defense Minister Benny Gantz this evening (Wednesday), accusing him of causing tensions in relations with the United States, as he worked to promote the construction of thousands of housing units in Judea and Samaria.
""Someone who makes policy declarations with international implications irresponsibly, without coordination and without preparation, and someone who approves the construction of 3,000 housing units in Judea and Samaria, how can we say, is not Rabin," the party said in a statement.
Blue and White returned fire - and harshly attacked Labor Chairman Michaeli: "Anyone who calls for refusal to enlist should not preach political and security responsibility.".
Minister Pnina Tamano Sheta came to Gantz's defense: "Today's Labor Party is far from the Labor Party of the time. And Rabin also built his own, how can we say less work, more energy.".
MK Yael Ron Ben Moshe reminded the Labor MKs: "For over a decade, no Israeli leader has approved such gestures to the Palestinians. Confused.".
