The IPS Commissioner informed the service personnel last night that she does not intend to resign following the failure of the escape of the 6 terrorists from Gilboa Prison. Holidays? New from Danona WOW: Yogurt with a strudel-flavored cream layer Hundreds of thousands have already obeyed the 'Gadoilim' and received a third vaccination. And you? How to ensure yourself a safe ride on public transportation? This is how With the holiday over, the Commissioner of Prisons published a letter to the guards, referring to the Gilboa escape and its consequences. The letter written by Gonder Kati Perry to the employees of the organization stated: "I am here to continue to lead you." She added: "This is a difficult time for all of us, in which we are required to courageously look at what we have done, to investigate in depth the gaps in all aspects, and to conduct extensive processes of drawing lessons that will advance our work." Perry further noted that "this is a rolling national operational event that has not yet come to an end, and we are working tirelessly to help find the prisoners outside, and to eradicate the incidents of disorder inside the organization." Immediately after the news of the prisoners' escape became known, the Commissioner of Prisons ordered the movement of all the prisoners in the wing and their distribution among the security prisons in the central and southern districts. According to the Commissioner's decision, the prisoners will not return to the northern district of the Prison Service. The Commissioner also decided to tighten security perimeters, conduct searches at the level of evacuating cells and wings, reinforce wings with guards, break routine and lock the cells of security prisoners throughout the day, and conduct a movement operation aimed at dispersing the centers of power and separating all Islamic Jihad prisoners held in the Prison Service. So far, approximately 300 Jihad prisoners have been dispersed. The Commissioner also directed that attention be paid to and the needs of all prison facilities managed by the Prison Service be met. During the implementation of the plan, Prison Service guards encountered a number of disturbances and arson attacks that were immediately addressed, while achieving immediate control over the events. Public Security Minister Amar Bar-Lev said this morning (Thursday) that security forces will get their hands on the escaped terrorists, adding that the failures that led to the escape will be corrected and that if professional negligence is found, it will be addressed. "Since early Monday morning, upon learning of the escape of the security prisoners from Gilboa Prison, the Israel Police, the IDF and the General Security Service have been engaged in a pursuit that will not stop until we get our hands on the escaped terrorists. "At the same time, an investigation is underway to determine whether the escape was accompanied by criminal acts," said Minister Bar-Lev. Eshel Prison Commander, Gonder Mishna Menachem Bivas, told Reshet B this morning that the escape of prisoners from Gilboa Prison is a very serious event that is being investigated at all levels - both within and outside the Prison Service. In an interview with Akiva Novik and Haim Levinson, Gonder Mishna Bivas denied the claim that prison guards are buying industrial peace in exchange for the conditions that prisoners receive, and emphasized that the Prison Service is constantly moving thousands of prisoners between prisons.
