On her Instagram account, Shavit, who was for many years one of Israel's most prominent child stars, described her great excitement:

""My Rezi went to the Torah at the Western Wall. My grandson, who grew up in Costa Rica with a surfboard and iguanas, wanted to go to the Torah and celebrate at the Western Wall.

""My heart was flying, I wasn't warm or crowded, just crazy joy and huge gratitude. More than all the launches, premieres, concerts, rehearsals, items, interviews and awards, this is the medal of my life and for them I have huge gratitude and crazy love forever.".
