""Personally, for the past five years I have been going through hell with the filing of cases and the persecution by the prosecutor's office," said Yair. "My father is going through this hell and he is sacrificing not only himself, but also his entire family to preserve the settlement.".

Netanyahu told what, in his opinion, would have happened if his father had understood the hints: "If at the beginning of the case-files he had understood Amnon Abramovich's hint that he should 'get excited' and had learned from Ariel Sharon and given a speech saying 'things you see from there you don't see from here' and started evacuating settlements - all the cases would have been closed and we would have lived in paradise.".

He claims, "They would have made me a darling of the Israeli media and I would have starred every day on Channel 12 as the beautiful face of the State of Israel. My father would have been crowned 'the grandfather of the state' and we would have really received sympathetic coverage.".
