
Minister of Religious Services Matan Kahane today (Tuesday) appointed the legal advisor of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel as acting director general of the Chief Rabbinate - until a permanent director general is appointed.
Lawyer Harel Goldberg, 46, lives in Talmon.
He has served for the past seven years as the legal advisor to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and previously held legal positions in the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Justice.
He holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in business administration, and holds a rabbinical certificate (Yora Yora) from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
