A senior Hamas official in Judea and Samaria was arrested last night (Wednesday) following a joint intelligence and operational activity by the Duvdevan unit and the Shin Bet in Ramallah.
Sheikh Jamal Tawil is a senior member of the Hamas terrorist organization in Judea and Samaria.
Recently, he has taken an active part in organizing riots, inciting violence, and re-establishing the Hamas headquarters in Ramallah.

Meanwhile, an explosion occurred today at a Hamas site in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least one person, according to a local hospital.
Hamas's Interior Ministry issued a statement to the media explaining that two Palestinians were killed at one of the terrorist organization's sites during an attempt to dismantle a bomb that had remained at the site since Operation Guardian of the Walls.
