Finance Committee Chairman, MK Moshe Gafni, spoke this morning (Wednesday) at the beginning of the committee meeting on forming a left-wing government - and said that the RAAM chairman lifted his spirits.
""I was afraid that Nitzan Hurwitz would want to promote LGBT rights, that the State of Israel would go against the Torah? It can't be," said Gafni. "Until Mansour Abbas arrived and lifted my spirits. I didn't trust Bennett. Mansour Abbas is the most religious in this government.".
As I recall, on Monday, the chairman of the Finance Committee addressed political developments - and said: "I would like to share that I am not in the mood. All these years they have put it in my head that I am a leftist, and that I really care about the Land of Israel, they have constantly put it in my head that I am not. I trusted those who said - we are the Land of Israel, and suddenly my mood dropped, it turned out that they had lied to me the whole time. They told me that the Land of Israel was the most important thing, suddenly it turned out that hatred for Bibi is more important than the Land of Israel.".
