Screen, here's the news

While the State of Israel was dealing with the 'Meron disaster', one Haredi family went through a real trauma - hundreds of meters from the settlement of Meron.

From footage from the dashboard camera of the family's car, which was on its way to a party in Meron - and published in 'Kan News' - the attack by masked men can be seen.

""They're lynching me up on Mount Meron, I've called you many times," the father of the family is heard saying in the recording in a call to the police hotline.

The father and mother of the family, who chose to remain anonymous, traveled with their two young daughters to Meron and, due to heavy traffic, chose to drive to Rashbi's grave through the forests.

On the way there, they were surrounded by masked, Arabic-speaking men who attacked the vehicle with sticks and stones. "I thought I was going to die," the mother said.

The father said in an interview with 'Kan News' that he tried to talk to the young men, to tell them that they had lost their way and had no intention of interfering, but was only met with violence.

They called the police, but they only arrived at the scene hours later.

After filing a complaint, the couple turned to the "Honenu" organization, with the aim of expediting the police handling of the incident while creating public resonance.
