A mitzvah and a reward on the side: Tassilo Blazio, an immigrant from Ethiopia, a cleaning worker at a contractor cleaning company at Ben Gurion Airport, became the hero of the day yesterday.

This was after he found a wallet containing $8,000 while cleaning a terminal and decided to return it to its owner.

At a ceremony attended by Transportation Minister Israel Katz, Board of Directors Chairman Ovadia Ali, Airports Authority Director General Yaakov Ganot, Ben Gurion Airport Director Shmuel Zakai, and Workers' Committee Chairman Pinchas Idan, he was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his honesty and exemplary citizenship.
