The Outstanding Soldiers Ceremony, which was canceled last year due to the coronavirus, is back.

However, this time most of the broadcast was pre-recorded, to ensure its broadcast due to the constraints of the Corona virus.

According to a report by Yaron Avraham on Channel 12, Netanyahu's office accuses that the President's Office did not update them on the matter, and that they were surprised to discover in a phone call from Netanyahu's tour coordinators that his presence at the ceremony is not required this time.

The President's Office, on the other hand, claims that the event was planned from the beginning under the restrictions of the coronavirus. According to them, Defense Minister Benny Gantz was also not invited due to the special format of the ceremony, in light of the restrictions.
