What is Moshe Gafni's promise worth? Probably not much.
Last Wednesday, members of the United Torah Judaism faction gathered for a special meeting, at the end of which a list of decisions was published. The final decision stated: "The faction will sever ties with reporters and media outlets that publish false and biased 'investigations' against the Haredi public.".
United Torah Judaism: 'We are cutting ties with the police, boycotting media outlets'‘
However, despite the series of 'combina investigations' on News 12's 'Ulpan Shishi' against the Haredi public, the chairman of the 'United Torah Judaism' party, MK Moshe Gafni, participated this morning (Sunday) in News 12's 'Influencers Conference'.
In an interview with Odad Ben Ami at the conference, Gafni said: "You should have been more honest. They said that the Ministry of Health's guidelines should be followed. If I were a senior journalist, I would have apologized to Rabbi Kanievsky. When the rabbis who understand the matter came to us, they said that education should be kept at the top of the priority scale and solutions could have been found. The government made a mistake when it did not put education at the top of its agenda. Today everyone comes and is happy that most of the education is coming back - they should have apologized to Rabbi Kanievsky for attacking him.".
In the interview, Gafni was also asked about his party's use of parts of the 'Ulpan Shishi' investigation into the Ben Gurion Airport Exceptions Committee in its election videos. "The focus is solely on the ultra-Orthodox in all that concerns violations, but we are reaching out to MK Yaakov Tesler as we reach out to everyone, and we are assisting," explained MK Gafni.

Gafni later took issue with MK Yitzhak Pindaros' comments about IDF conversions: "I disagree with MK Pindaros' statement about conversion.".
Gafni attacked the treatment of the ultra-Orthodox in all matters relating to coronavirus morbidity: "Initially, there was indeed a high morbidity in the ultra-Orthodox sector, but an unprecedented injustice was done to the ultra-Orthodox public.".
He added: "We are going with Netanyahu and half of the people hate him. They are targeting the prime minister. We are going with Netanyahu because the traditional public is there. All the years I have been in the Knesset, I have been going with the right. I accept this criticism that we are going with Bibi.".
