Former Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn spoke today (Tuesday) with Ben Caspit and Yinon Magal on their program on 103FM about the political situation and assessed: "When things stabilize, the center-left will have a stable party and I think it will be 'The Israelis.' I don't see Blue and White ultimately surviving the elections, and in the end it will drain into Yesh Atid, the Israelis and Meretz.".

Thinking about a good career and a respectable livelihood? Here we open the door for you

Are you running to the end anyway?

""Yes, there may be connections next week. I think that ultimately, we will reach connections towards the end of next week because we don't want mandates to be thrown away, but in the end the connections should be such that we don't once again create a configuration of Zvika Hauser versus Mickey Haimovich, right? Because in the end it falls apart.".

What's not working?

""In the end, the way I see it, there are a lot of voters who are currently undecided. There are at least 6-7 seats currently in parties that do not pass the threshold, there are 4 seats currently in Blue and White that I think will move, because I don't think Blue and White will pass the threshold, there is the Labor Party that will finish elections next week, and then we will see if there is a connection with it or not, and there is an event here that we ultimately need to stand by February 4. Once there is a stand, in my opinion, in the space, ultimately, there will be room for a stable center-left party, and the Israelis will lead it.".

If there is no connection, will you still run to the end?

""yes".

Is there a chance that you will eventually unite with Benny Gantz?

""That seems like a slim chance to me.".

Why actually? There are no major differences between the current Blue and White and you.

""If every Blue and White party has gone in a certain direction in defending democracy, and I end up finding Haim Ramon, who, 180 degrees, brings the opposite proposal - that's a crazy crisis of trust.".

But how can Huldai say that he is not sure he will uphold the Attorney General's decisions not to open the cultural event, and you are not upset about it?

""He didn't say that. He's been interviewed several times and made it clear that he upholds the rule of law. He said that cultural events must be opened, especially to people who have been vaccinated, because the sanitary situation can be controlled here.".

And he was instructed not to do that.

""You will see that the pilot of the State of Israel's decision will go exactly as Huldai said.".

Will Huldai comply with Raz Nizri's order?

""We are law-abiding, period.".

Still, we are in the midst of Corona - what do you say about the management, speaking of the Haredim?

""Bibi depends on his political future among the Haredim. He will not do anything that the Haredi politicians do not allow him to do, and therefore he has a forgiving hand for the violations in the Haredi world.".

The Likud responded: Nissenkorn, against whom Mandelblit secretly closed a criminal case two days before he was appointed Minister of Justice, is an irrelevant politician who will say anything about the Prime Minister just to receive flattering media coverage. The Prime Minister does not participate in this childish game and is dedicating all his time to Operation "Return to Life" that will vaccinate all Israeli citizens.
