A 25-year-old Jerusalem resident was arrested by police after a chase, during which he was driving against the direction of traffic. The arrested suspect was taken for questioning and was subsequently imprisoned. What is a “shared car price list”? How will the prices be displayed in the price list? All the details During an operation by detectives from the central unit of the Traffic Division in Jerusalem last Thursday, the police noticed a suspect who had never had a driver's license, as he entered the city from the direction of Highway 1, through the Cedar Tunnel. The police ordered the driver of the vehicle to stop, but in response he began to flee, driving wildly, which included, among other things, driving at very high speeds and overtaking vehicles while driving to the left of the continuous dividing line, and at a certain point he even swerved with his vehicle and continued his dangerous driving while driving against the direction of traffic and significantly endangering other road users. With the assistance of additional police vehicles, and quick and calculated actions, his path was blocked in the direction of travel, near the French Hill intersection, where the detectives took control of the suspect and he was arrested and taken for questioning - at the end of which he was imprisoned. The next day he was brought to court. Today, the Police Prosecution Division filed an indictment accompanied by a request to detain him until the end of the proceedings against him, including charges including - driving without a driver's license, driving a vehicle without insurance, disobeying a police officer, reckless driving of a vehicle, obstruction and risk to traffic under aggravated circumstances. The indictment also includes another incident in which he fled the law in late November of this year, when he arrived in his vehicle at the Ein Yael checkpoint in Jerusalem, at which time he disobeyed the police officer's instructions during his inspection while continuing to drive and almost hitting the police officer.
""This is a young man who blatantly endangers the public of road users while driving a motor vehicle even though he is not licensed to do so, and even does so more than once and knowingly," the police said. "The Israel Police will continue to act using means and in an open and covert manner against such lawbreakers who harm the security and peace of the public in general, and road users in particular.".
