There is great anger in the ultra-Orthodox parties over Blue and White: Benny Gantz's party did not agree to advance a state conversion law in advance of the High Court's ruling on the matter. This was reported this morning (Wednesday) on the B network.

Officials in the ultra-Orthodox parties recently approached Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn and the chairman of the Knesset committee, MK Eitan Ginsburg of Blue and White, and asked them to allow their proposed conversion law to pass only in preliminary reading, in order to show the High Court of Justice that the Knesset has begun the process of regulating the issue of conversion - and thus, perhaps, to prevent the High Court's ruling that is expected soon regarding the recognition of conversions that take place outside the state conversion system.
But Blue and White did not respond to the request.
The ultra-Orthodox parties were furious.
Haredi sources claim that Deri's attack on Gantz on Tuesday is also related to this matter.
The Haredi parties fear that at the end of the month the High Court of Justice will issue a decision on petitions filed regarding conversion and will recognize Reform and Conservative conversion.
