MDA paramedic Orian Lukacs said about the incident: "We received a report of a plane that landed on the rocky beach near the water's edge. Together with police forces, we reached the pilot who was walking on the sand, fully conscious.

""Seeing a plane on the waterfront is not something we see every day, and miraculously the pilot was not injured at all, walked on the beach and did not require medical treatment.".

Jonathan Oate, a United Hatzalah medic: "Following a report of an emergency landing on the beach, several medics went to the scene and walked on foot until they located the pilot. A United Hatzalah SUV also arrived at the scene with medical equipment. Miraculously, the 70-year-old pilot was examined at the scene and is in good condition and fully conscious.".
