The Security and Emergency Services Department in the Bnei Brak Municipality completed another step in expanding the deployment of protection in the public space, with the placement of four new protections at strategic points selected in professional coordination with the Home Front Command and security officials.
The reinforcement of the current defense system is being carried out, among other things, as part of drawing operational lessons and field conclusions following Operation Roar of the Harrier.
The deployment of the protections was carried out with close escort from municipal patrol vehicles and under the professional supervision of representatives of the IDF and Home Front Command, who managed the transportation and engineering work in the field to ensure the safe anchoring and rapid deployment of the infrastructure for the benefit of residents and passersby.
The shields join the 6 shields that were placed in the first beat.
This is part of a multi-phase work plan led by the municipal emergency headquarters, in which vulnerable points and crowded areas where there is a gap in the immediate protection response are mapped.
The municipality emphasizes that the project will continue continuously in accordance with periodic status assessments and the requirements of the area.
