Public Security Minister Amir Ohana today (Thursday) attacked the police for their conduct last night during the demonstration in Tel Aviv - and the police spokeswoman for a statement she issued.
In a tweet on his Twitter account, Ohana spoke out against the police announcement for allowing an illegal procession, after the police spokeswoman tweeted yesterday about the demonstrations in Tel Aviv: "In recent hours, an illegal protest march took place, without coordination and without police permission. However, the police forces allowed it to take place and secured the procession route.".
In response, Ohana wrote: "It is also permissible to say, 'Sorry, we made a mistake, we will fix it.' Police officers do a hard and thankless job. A statement from a spokesperson like this ruins a lot of their efforts.".

According to a report in Kan News, the procession in Tel Aviv took place in violation of the Corona guidelines, without maintaining distance and wearing masks, but no reports were given to the demonstrators.
