לאחר אחד מהאירועים המוצלחים שהופיעו בו אריק דביר ומקהלת נרננה, אמר אריק לחברי המקהלה: אני מרגיש שחייבים לעשות משהו חסידי אותנטי ביחד, ומכאן הייתה קצרה הדרך להפקה מרשימה זו.
