The ultra-Orthodox women's marathon champion, Beatty Deutsch, this week asked the International Olympic Committee not to compete on Saturday at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

This is the university that allows you to study from anywhere and at any time convenient for you.

According to a report on Channel 7, Deutsch requested that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) board of directors make a reasonable accommodation to her religious beliefs by holding the 2021 Tokyo Women's Marathon on a day other than Saturday.

The Olympic marathon in which Deutsch is scheduled to compete is currently scheduled for August 7, 2021. The IOC previously rejected Deutsch's request to take her religious beliefs into account when setting times for the women's marathon.

""All I want is to be able to fulfill my dream of representing Israel at the Tokyo Olympics and continue to encourage young women and mothers of all religions that it's never too late to pursue your dreams, and that you can do so while balancing motherhood and staying true to your values," Deutsch said.

Bracha Deutsch was born in the United States and immigrated to Israel in 2009. She began training for long runs in 2015, when she was 25 years old. She usually runs in a skirt and a headscarf.

Deutsch lives in the city of Beit Shemesh with her husband and their 5 children and works as a liaison for the Jewish education organization Olami.

Beattie Deutsch's path to the Olympics was unusual. She ran her first marathon less than five years ago, at the age of 26, after giving birth to four children.

She ran her second marathon while seven months pregnant with her fifth child. She started training with a coach a little over a year ago, but she has already competed against elite runners, and now she is ready to compete in the Olympics.
