The great Mizrahi singer Yaniv Ben Mashiach came to cheer up a wounded soldier, who personally requested that Yaniv come to cheer him up.
Soldier Haim Lev Tov was injured in the second week of fighting in Gaza and was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. After several days of treatment, the soldier asked his friend Dvir to invite singer Yaniv Ben Mashiach to cheer him up after his injury in Gaza.
Ben Mashiach responded immediately, and the very next day he showed up at the hospital. Dozens filled the small room where the soldier lay, boys and girls came with letters of hope and a quick recovery - and the adults filled the room with a variety of sweets and treats.
When Yaniv holds the soldier's hand, he sings to him the song "My Dear Brother" written by Lior Narkis.
Immediately afterwards, the two sang the empowering song "Shema Benny" together, with the large audience joining in and singing along with them.
