""I would like to demand that Minister Amsalem retract his harsh words against the Israel Police and the gatekeepers, or - if God forbid he does not agree to do so - consider offering him his resignation. I am convinced that both of you want this government to be represented before the Knesset with great respect for the legislature and the preservation of statehood and the cornerstones of Israeli democracy," Shai wrote. "The minister who links the government and the Knesset is supposed to represent all parts of this unity government, with all its components, with due respect and on the basis of the values for which it was established.".

Minister Amsalem responded this afternoon in a tweet on Twitter: "I was not informed by eight ministers about the distribution of grades to other ministers... I ask ministers who only received new stationery yesterday not to preach morality to me and not to teach me the laws of etiquette. I will continue to express myself and say everything that is on my heart, without fear or intimidation. Thank you.".

In a confrontation that took place last night in the plenum, MK David Amsalem slammed MK Segalovich: "You know the truth, you know what you did. According to what we read, you disrupted an investigation when you were head of Lahav! We heard Ashkenazi say this during the investigations, so at least you will shut up.".

Amsalem continued: "When you talk about the prime minister - be silent. A lot is happening between your eyes. When you talk about corruption, look at yourself.".

Segalovich: "Why don't you look there? Bribery, fraud and breach of trust!"'

Amsalem replied: "It's all a bluff. You invented a lie, a tract of lies. You and the entire army are outside. There's an entire army. With an air force, artillery and everything. The media and academia, all the people who are protesting at Rothschild...""
