Personal assistant infected with coronavirus: Haredi MK enters home quarantine tonight

Knesset Officer, Chief Joseph Greif, updated all Knesset members and employees by email this evening (Wednesday), in light of an update he received this evening from professional officials at the Ministry of Health - according to which MK Yaakov Asher's assistant tested positive for the coronavirus. According to the epidemiological examination that was performed, it was found that the assistant was in the Knesset on Sunday, April 5, between 9:00 and 17:00. In light of these findings, MK Yaakov Asher informed the Knesset officer that he had entered home isolation. In his further address, Chief Griff emphasizes that anyone who was in the assistant's vicinity on this date and between the relevant hours - will act in accordance with the instructions that appear on the Ministry of Health website - which will continue with the test, from his perspective. MK Yaakov Asher's office reported: This evening we learned about one of MK Asher's assistants who tested positive for the coronavirus. It should be noted that the MK has not been in the company of his assistants in the last eight days and has entered isolation this evening in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
