Rabbi Michael Lasri, a senior lecturer on values, came to cheer up the soldiers at one of the IDF bases in the south of the country, to which the soldiers return from the Gaza Strip for refreshment and respite.
Throughout the day, Rabbi Lasri spoke to groups of soldiers, without saying a word about religion or repentance.
""They are doing sacred work, so we came to give them some mundane," said Rabbi Lasri with his characteristic humor.
