Amit Segal, the senior commentator for News 12 and host of the program 'Dekel-Segal' on Network B, announced today (Thursday) that he will retire from presenting the joint program with Yaron Dekel, after nearly five years together. Segal said during the program this morning: "After almost five years on the program alongside Yaron Dekel, I am forced to retire due to an unbearable workload. These have been fascinating years with many achievements, and I thank Yaron, the dedicated editor Ilan Lior, and the corporation's management." The program by Yaron Dekel and Amit Segal was an initiative of Dekel, when he served as commander of Galei Tzahal. The program quickly became very popular. In February of this year, Dekel moved to the 'Kan' broadcasting corporation, where he serves as a political commentator and hosts 'News of the Week.' At the same time, the Dekel-Segal program found a new home on Network B.
