A few months ago, two tragedies shocked the Haredi public, and in particular the Vizhnitz and Vizhnitz-Monsi Hasidic communities: two granddaughters of the Rebbes died suddenly.

The first tragedy occurred when the young woman Mrs. Chaya Feiga Hagar, granddaughter of the Rebbes of Vizhnitz, died immediately after the birth of her first daughter. She was the wife of Rabbi Yochanan Hagar, son of Rabbi Baruch Shimshon Hagar and grandson of the Rebbes of Vizhnitz and Vizhnitz-Monsi.

At the behest of his grandfather, the Rebbe of Vizhnitz-Monsi, the widower Rabbi Yochanan Hager became engaged to the younger sister of his wife, may God bless her, who even took in the orphaned infant.

The second tragedy in Vizhnitz-Monsi also took a turn yesterday: last night, at the residence of the grandfather, the Rebbe of Vizhnitz-Monsi, the engagement party of the groom, Rabbi Zusha Tversky, the great-grandson of the Rebbe of Vizhnitz-Monsi, who about four months ago was widowed by his wife, after she suddenly collapsed, two months after the birth of their daughter.

He also became engaged to his sister-in-law - the sister of his late wife, the daughter of Rabbi Eliezer Goldman.
