The homeowner was just trying to do what we all do when we see a spider inside the house: kill it. Only the means he used were not entirely conventional, and the spider's house burned down.

All because of a little spider: A man in Seattle, Washington, discovered a spider in his house and decided to fight it. But the war took a heavy toll on the brave warrior, who nearly lost his home.

It turns out that the spider that climbed the laundry room wall angered the man, and he picked up a makeshift burner that included a can of spray paint and tried to kill the spider with it.

But the attempt apparently failed, and instead of the spider, the house died. Within a short time, flames broke out, and the fire department was quickly called in. The value of the damage exceeds $60,000 - over 200,000 shekels.

The Sky News website, which reported the story, reports that the Red Cross, which heard about the strange story, promised to provide temporary shelter to the residents of the house.
